Troubleshooting

Diagnose PiChamber server and session-daemon availability.

Check the server state:

pichamber status
pichamber logs --no-follow

pichamber logs follows the latest instance by default. Use --port <port> to select an instance, --lines <count> to change the tail size, or --all to inspect every running instance. Use --quiet for raw log lines and --json --no-follow for machine-readable output.

If the browser reports that Pi is unavailable, verify that the server host can read its Pi agent directory and that the server process has permission to create its local daemon socket. A daemon failure is reported explicitly; it is not an empty session list.

Stop and restart the host if the daemon cannot recover. pichamber stop asks before stopping multiple instances in an interactive terminal. Use pichamber stop --force to skip that confirmation, then start the server again:

pichamber stop --force
pichamber serve

For a scripted restart, use pichamber restart --port <port> with the port explicitly selected.
